Unit

Units are attributes of logical locations that are contained on one floor of a building. A unit may have multiple locations and rooms and could include departments that do not have patient beds. Users who have fixed memberships are assigned to units (or clusters, which can be groups of units and departments) when they are assigned memberships. If a user's membership includes a certain unit, then that user can see the data of patients whose current, home, or assigned locations are within that unit and can see data regarding beds and employees who are associated with that unit.
